Gana partnered with Tenglo to develop a distinctive brand for a new collagen supplement entering the Indian market. The project included brand identity development, packaging design and social media communication. The brand story draws on Tenglo’s use of 100% Japanese marine collagen, translating this origin into a refined visual language. The result is a confident identity that combines Japanese visual heritage with contemporary supplement branding.

At the centre of the identity is a distinctive logo that merges the Latin letter “T” with the expressive movement of Japanese calligraphy. The mark references the tradition of Hanko seals while remaining modern and legible for a global audience. This approach allowed the brand to communicate its Japanese sourcing while establishing a unique and memorable symbol.

The project demonstrated how cultural references can strengthen product storytelling when used with restraint and clarity. By grounding the identity in the origin of the collagen itself, the brand communicates authenticity rather than relying on generic supplement aesthetics. A clear visual system also allowed the brand to launch quickly despite tight timelines.
