Gana partnered with Nizona Marine Products to redefine the brand for a new phase of growth. The project involved strategic brand positioning, a complete visual identity redesign and the design and development of a new website on Framer. Our aim was to move the brand away from generic sustainability tropes and position NMP as a leader in marine upcycled materials. The result is a confident identity and digital platform that reflects both the science and optimism behind their work.

Sustainability brands in this category often rely on predictable visual language, dominated by green palettes and conservative design systems. Instead, we developed an identity that reflects the energy and forward momentum of NMP’s work. The system captures the optimism of marine upcycling while positioning the company as a serious materials innovator.

The project reinforced the importance of clear positioning in complex and emerging industries. By grounding the identity in strategic research, we were able to move beyond surface-level sustainability cues and build a brand that communicates both credibility and progress. Strong branding allows technical companies to express ambition, not just function.

Nizona Marine Products operates in a highly technical space, developing upcycled materials derived from marine waste streams. While the work itself is innovative and environmentally significant, the category is often visually indistinguishable, with many companies relying on predictable sustainability aesthetics. Our task was to reposition NMP as a confident leader within this emerging materials landscape.

The project began with strategic research into the category, analysing sustainability narratives, category leaders and the broader conversation around circular materials. This informed a new brand positioning that emphasises progress, innovation and environmental impact without relying on visual clichés. We then developed a complete identity system and implemented it across a new Framer-built website designed to communicate both the technical depth and optimism of the brand. The result is a cohesive platform that positions NMP not simply as a recycling company, but as a pioneer in sustainable material innovation.
